Koffie & (Hb)Kids – Op weg naar school ☕🎒
We sluiten dit jaar af met alweer de derde en laatste Koffie & (Hb)Kids!
Na de inspirerende bijeenkomsten met Mariet van de HB-Babbelbus over opvoeding/ autonomie, verwelkomen we dit keer Rosalie Walker van Bronderwijs.
Rosalie is binnen ons netwerk een vertrouwde samenwerkingspartner – ze gaf eerder workshops over schooluitdagingen en de lezing ‘Wegwijs in onderwijs’. Ook begeleidt ze een oudergroep die regelmatig samenkomt rond thema’s zoals ontwikkelingsvoorsprong en passend onderwijs.
Tijdens deze “koffie en (hb)kids” praten we over peuters op weg naar de basisschool: de verschillende schooltypes, hoe je een ontwikkelingsvoorsprong herkent en wat er allemaal praktisch bij komt kijken.
We kijken ernaar uit om samen met Rosalie en ouders in gesprek te gaan over een goede start op school.
Rosalie beschrijft haar ideeën tijdens de inloop als volgt:
Als ouder van een peuter met een ontwikkelingsvoorsprong sta je voor belangrijke keuzes. Welke basisschool past het beste bij de (onderwijs)behoeften van jouw kind? Hoe verloopt het aanmeldproces in Utrecht? En welke schooltypes zijn er?
Op 21 november neemt Rosalie Walker van Bronderwijs je mee in het proces van schoolkeuze. Ze bespreekt het aanmeldsysteem in Utrecht, legt uit hoe je een school kiest die aansluit bij de behoeften van je kind en geeft inzicht in verschillende schooltypes, zoals Montessori, Dalton, Jenaplan, Agora, vrije school en reguliere scholen.
Ook gaat Rosalie dieper in op een ontwikkelingsvoorsprong en passend onderwijs. Wat heeft jouw kind daarin nodig?
Er is ruimte voor vragen en persoonlijke gesprekken. Een waardevolle gelegenheid om je goed voor te bereiden op de volgende stap in de ontwikkeling van je kind.

☕ Koffie & (HB) Kids – On the Way to School
We’re closing the year with the third and final edition of Koffie & (HB) Kids!
After two inspiring sessions with Mariët Hoeksma from the HB-Babbelbus on parenting and autonomy, we’re delighted to welcome Rosalie Walker from Bronderwijs this time.
Rosalie is a familiar and trusted partner within our network – she has previously led workshops on school challenges and given the lecture “Wegwijs in Onderwijs” (Navigating the Education System). She also facilitates a parent group that meets regularly to discuss topics such as early development and appropriate education.
During this Koffie & (HB) Kids, we’ll be talking about toddlers on their way to primary school – the different school types, recognizing early development, and all the practical aspects that come with this new phase.
We look forward to sitting down with Rosalie and parents to discuss how to ensure a great start at school.
Rosalie describes her session as follows:
As a parent of a toddler with an early development advantage, you face important choices.
Which primary school best meets your child’s (educational) needs?
How does the enrollment process in Utrecht work?
And what types of schools are available?
On 21 November, Rosalie Walker from Bronderwijs will guide you through the school choice process.
She’ll explain the Utrecht enrollment system, help you understand how to select a school that suits your child’s needs, and provide insight into various school types – such as Montessori, Dalton, Jenaplan, Agora, vrije school and regular schools.
Rosalie will also explore what an early developmental advantage means in practice and what kind of support your child might need in appropriate education.
There will be room for questions and personal conversations – a valuable opportunity to prepare for your child’s next developmental step.
