Beste ouders,
Welkom bij Koffie en Kids – dit keer met een bijzondere twist: ouders van kids met alle leeftijden zijn welkom – jij bent dus ook zonder jouw kind welkom ;-).
Eerder, op 17 april, gingen we samen met Tania van den Bergh in gesprek over pedagogische sensitiviteit. Ook dit keer is zij er weer bij, als vervolg op dat thema.
Deze keer zoomen we in op het perspectief van kinderen onderling. Hoe werkt de relatie tussen broers en zussen? En hoe is het eigenlijk als je enig (levend) kind bent ?
Tania neemt ons opnieuw mee in haar thema en ervaring.
Tania schrijft over haar thema:
Broers en zussen… ze kunnen elkaars grootste bondgenoten zijn, maar ook elkaars grootste uitdaging.
Wat betekent je plek in de kinderrij eigenlijk voor je rol binnen het gezin? Welke invloed heeft leeftijdsverschil? En waarom kunnen de onderlinge dynamieken soms zó intens zijn — zeker wanneer hoogbegaafdheid een rol speelt?
Tijdens deze bijeenkomst gaan we samen in gesprek over de unieke dynamiek tussen broers en zussen binnen gezinnen met (vermoedelijk) hoogbegaafde kinderen. Herkenning, inzicht en uitwisseling staan centraal. Want veel ouders lopen tegen vergelijkbare vragen aan:
– Waarom botsen mijn kinderen zo heftig?
– Waarom neemt één kind steeds de leiding?
– Hoe verschillend kunnen broers en zussen reageren binnen hetzelfde gezin?
– En hoe houd je ruimte voor ieders eigenheid?
Normaal gesproken richten onze bijeenkomsten zich op ouders van kinderen van 0-6 jaar. Maar vanwege de grote behoefte vanuit jullie én omdat dit thema leeftijd overstijgt, is deze ochtens toegankelijk voor álle ouders.
Koffie en thee… zijn voor eigen rekening.
Voel je welkom om ervaringen te delen, vragen te stellen en andere ouders te ontmoeten die veel zullen herkennen.

Earlier, on April 17, we had an engaging conversation with Tania van den Bergh about pedagogical sensitivity. She will be joining us again this time, continuing that theme.
This session we will focus on the perspective of children in relation to one another. How does the relationship between brothers and sisters work? And what is it like to be an only (living) child?
Tania will once again guide us through her theme and insights.
Tania writes about her theme:
Brothers and sisters… they can be each other’s greatest allies, but also each other’s biggest challenge.
What does your place in the birth order actually mean for your role within the family? What influence does age difference have? And why can these dynamics sometimes be so intense — especially when giftedness plays a role?
During this meeting, we will explore the unique dynamics between siblings within families with (possibly) gifted children. Recognition, insight, and exchange are central. Because many parents are facing similar questions:
- Why do my children clash so strongly?
- Why does one child always take the lead?
- Why can siblings react so differently within the same family?
- And how do you make space for each child’s individuality?
Normally, our sessions are aimed at parents of children aged 0–6. However, due to the strong interest from parents and because this topic goes beyond age groups, this morning is open to all parents.
Coffee and tea are at your own expense.
You are warmly welcome to share experiences, ask questions, and meet other parents who will likely recognize many of the same situations.
